Elden Ring Delayed

Elden Ring has been delayed following the announcement on October 18th, for an additional five weeks. As is the style of games in the past two years, a delay is almost ritual now with games getting closer to release.

The January 22nd release may have some players scrambling to adjust their ‘leave’ days from work with the new announcement. The Elden Ring team announced via Twitter in hopes of not only understanding but being proud that they are exceeding expectations.

With Elden Ring being a bit different from an IP, FROMSOFTWARE does not disappoint as they introduce the George R.R. Martin storyline and torture artist. A bit more in-depth and perhaps darker than the original Soul’s Series had led, but a direction favored by all who sit on the edge for the release of this game.

To take some sting out of the delay of Elden Ring, FROMSOFTWARE has offered a ‘Closed Network Test’ ( https://www.bandainamcoent.com/landing/elden-ring-closed-network-test ) for those interested in trying out the game before release. The Network Test will take place November 12th-14th and will consist of ‘Three-Hour Sessions’ available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox series X/S. Unfortunately for those on PC, there will not be a network test available for you.

Elden Ring will be released on February 25th of 2022, as long as there are no other delays.
