Rhythm of the Universe: IONIA

A VR Rhythm experience in nature

Have you ever wanted to go and play the drums in the jungle? Experience the sounds and colors of the rainforest? Well now could be your chance with Ionia.

Ionia is a single-player fantasy-adventure puzzle VR game for all ages. Dance and celebrate with music-inspired creatures in a lush forest teeming with life. Explore ancient ruins, indulge in music-based magic on your way to save the Harpa, a mythical creature whose habitat is on the brink of destruction.

Harpa is an endangered mythical creature who is the heart of the rainforest, the lifeblood keeping the music and color alive and vibrant. The threat of an army, devastating the world as they knew it. It’s up to you, and the creatures of the jungles to save everything they know.

Interactive plant and animal life are waiting to be explored by fresh eyes and hearts. Forage food and glowing Ocarinas, admire the zipline vista as you speed across the canyons. Climbing winding vines in the canopy of ancient trees to release your inner climber. Or view the bioluminescent glow from the depths of a watery cave. The world of Ionia will surround you and immerse you in a life full of sound and color you never thought possible.

This VR game offers an experience that I have not seen replicated a bunch on VR games, sure there are lots of ”Virtual Tours” going on ever since COVID-19 hit the planet. Ionia is the first game in the Rhythm of the Universe series centered around the unique perspective of music, mythology, and history.

The game brings awareness to environmental issues and is partnered with nonprofit organizations in order to support and facilitate animal habitat destruction across the world.

#GamingForGood is a real thing in the hearts of ROTU developers, while you will be able to use music-based magic to help save creatures inside the game, every purchase will also benefit real-world wildlife, with a portion of proceeds going directly to nonprofits.

So this is a game you can not only feel good while playing it but know you’re helping do good as well.

We look forward to the saga of Ionia and the beautiful colors they bring along with!
